Bailey Paints BT4 MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) is a strong solvent used primarily for cleaning and degreasing purposes. It is effective at removing residues and contaminants from surfaces before painting, as well as cleaning equipment such as spray guns and tools.
MEK is known for its quick evaporation rate and strong solvency, making it suitable for preparing surfaces and ensuring proper adhesion of coatings. It is also used for thinning certain types of coatings, although its application should be handled with care due to its high flammability and potent fumes. Proper ventilation and personal protective equipment are recommended when using MEK.
We try to process all orders within 24 hours from reception of the order. They are then sent via a next day delivery service. As such our delivery time from order is 2-3 working days. If the item is not stock or is currently out of stock, it may take up to 7 working days for you to receive your order. Please note that no orders are processed over the Weekend, Bank Holidays or Christmas period.
All orders are checked thoroughly before sending them to you. You may return stock items only up to 14 days from the order being accepted. However bespoke items that are made to order, or items ordered in for you, may not be returned unless faulty. We will only accept returns of these items if they are defective.
