3M 06915 A2 Filters are organic vapour filters

They attach using 3M’s bayonet fitting system, ensuring a secure and quick connection to compatible masks and allowing easy replacement as required. These filters are rated to A2 protection, meaning they are engineered to protect against organic vapours with boiling points above 65 °C — the type typically encountered with solvent‑based paints, adhesives, thinners and similar materials in decorating and industrial applications.

3M 06925 Pre‑Filters are P2 particulate pre‑filters

They consist of lightweight filter media that captures solid and liquid airborne particles — including dust, mists and other fine particulates you might encounter during sanding, grinding or surface preparation — before they reach the main gas/vapour filters. 

These pre‑filters attach via 3M’s bayonet system and are intended to complement vapour or gas filters by providing an additional layer of particulate defence.
